Hip-Hop Legends

Congrats to the most awesomest dance crew ever on being honoured with the Hip-Hop Legends title!I've always liked Jabbawockeez's dance moves because they are so precise and just the way they move is so captivating you just can't help but to admire their dance moves. They always called the way they dance is a from of art like they said "We dance to the music like it is the canvas and We are the brushes, painting the picture" I totally agree with them on that and I feel anybody who is deaf could listen to the songs Jabbawockeez are dancing too as they hit every beat so very precise.I also admire how they never gave up on their dream to have their own show in Las Vegas as well, dancing isn't really a career,it's just a hobby unless your super good and the most you could do is go tour with some mega famous superstar but that usually doesnt last long so yea from winning the first season of America's Best Dance Crew till now having one of the most popular show on the Las Vegas strip called M.u.Sic.They really have done well and to be given that award ,well they deserve it very much and noone can deny that :) #jbwkzforever

#justsaying

Erskine Falls,Lorne

Last week I went on a short road trip with some friends to Lorne at the Great Ocean Road. It's a very quiet seaside town, very nice to relax and since its winter now, there isn't really much people there compared to when its summer where it'll be packed with surfers and people who wanna bask in the sun to get tanned.

Lorne is an hour drive away from the town I'm at so before starting our journey,we had some breakfast at a cafe called Panache. The speciality from this cafe are their crepes and it was good! I love having crepes for breakfast besides waffles and churros cause its not a too heavy and not too light kind of meal to have for breakfast which is good!

I ordered the chocolate overload crepes which basically is crepes with nutella inside( a lot of it ) and chocolate syrup spread on top and sprinkle with chocolate..and yes I LOVE CHOCOLATE :D best thing ever.I also had a hot chocolate drink.Pretty much a chocolatey breakfast I had!It was very good and the price was reasonable and the place was packed with people reading newspapers/books/magazines etc or people just sitting down having a chat on a cold rainy winter morning. The cafe gave out a very warm and cozy vibe which was very nice and I'd go back there for breakfast again next time!

After filing our stomachs with a good breakfast,we set course for Lorne!Throughout the journey, I slept as I didnt really sleep much the night before. When we finaly reached Lorne it was still raining but it was less now, more like a heavy drizzle. We walked around the town for awhile went to the beach and then went to Erskine Falls which is the waterfall in Lorne. It was kinda cold since it was raining so my hands were numb as hell but the waterfall was really nice and the enviroment around it was equally as nice! All the trees and the air felt so fresh!

After taking a few photos of the waterfall we headed back home and had a hearty lunch at Nandos before parting ways.It was a nice mini road trip and I'd do another one again whenever I'm free only I guess :/

7 days more!

Only 7 days left till the "most anticipated movie of the year" is released in cinemas across the whole world! I've been looking forward to this movie since I found out Christopher Nolan was doing another Dark Knight movie last year. When I heard that there was gonna be another Batman movie,I was so thrilled yet I was also  sad as this will be the last Dark Knight movie that will be done by Christopher Nolan, who in my opinion is a superb director and his version of Batman is probably the best ever among the other Batman directors.

I just wanna talk a little abit about what MAY happen in Dark Knight Rises. So everyone knows that this guy below is Bane the new bad-ass guy that Batman has to face in the new movie.
When I was younger and still watching cartoons,I remember how Cartoon Network always aired Batman:The Animated Series and most of the time Batman's nemesis would be Joker,Penguin,Riddler and Bane.Bane is one of Batman's nemesis who is both physically strong & intelligent. He is one of the few people that actually manage to decipher Batman's identity and also is the only one who managed to do break Batman's back and thus forcing Batman to retire from well pretty much being Batman. So after watching again and again the Dark Knight Rises trailer you can see that Bruce Wayne actually is using a walking cane to walk and was also on a wheelchair and also Bane defeating him and throwing his Batman mask on to the floor. So that's not a spoiler even though most people are saying like "The trailer is showing the whole movie already"Well no,it only showed people parts that everyone knows will happen but they never showed how Bruce is gonna overcome Bane when his back is broken. Will he build a Bat suit? Will he get a sidekick to help him out?(Robin/Nightwing)Will he die of his injury? Will there be another Batman?

So yea so many questions about the movie especially the character Joseph-Gordan Levitt is playing.Everyone knows JGL is playing John Blake but who the hell is John Blake?Could it be Christopher Nolan's version of a Robin?Or Nightwing?or Azarael? All these characters were Batman's sidekick but Azarael was the one who took up Batman's mantle when his back was broken by Bane and he built a suit to defeat Bane, actually killing him and then he went rogue and started killing other criminals which Batman would not normally do so in the Batman had to fight and defeat him after curing his back with some "magical powers".There is also a slight chance that John Blake is the new Batman who will take up Batman's mantle thinking Batman is dead (as Bruce was missing for awhile supposedly captured by Bane's men ) and going on to take Bane on.

Well all in all ,I really cannot wait to watch the movie and I know deep down it's gonna be a good movie regardless of whoever John Blake is! I know i'll enjoy it but I really feel like i'm gonna have the bittersweet feeling when going to watch the movie as I love the Batman movies and to think this is gonna be the last one till someone else reboots it after 10 years?is kinda sad!But hey its the 21st century! Blu-ray DVDs for the win!:)

PS:i just need to survive 7 days more till this movie,if i die now(touchwood*) ill be a sad sad spirit :/

Bestfriends /Brothers!

As time is flying by so fast especially this year , well for me , I start to reflect back on my childhood. All of my friends that I knew in primary and secondary are still my friends and we are much closer I guess than before and I am grateful for that but I have lost contact with some others as well. I do miss those times playing "football" in school where the ball was made out of newspaper squashed together and then taped over in a shape of a "football" or using bottle caps as the ball and just playing behind the class.

I also miss the times where we would go to my place and have a sleepover where we'd play FIFA and bury ourselves with junk food and some alcohol. I remember when Jeong Mark tried to spike Matthew's water with vodka and he actually drank it and felt like vomiting HAHA .Or when Jeong Mark broke one of my dad's glass duck and went to the 7/11 store on his bike(as we couldnt drive that time) and bought superglue to glue it back but my maids told my mum he broke it anyways haha. Or when he spilled alcohol all over my carpet and kept trying to dry it and then spraying perfume so that my parents wont know he spilled alcohol on the carpet lol. A sleepover isn't a sleepover without Jeong Mark that I must agree :')

I also miss those times where we'd all go to Gurney Plaza just to hang out and watch movies till there was a few times we watched all the movies till there weren't any movies left for us to watch. And ALWAYS when Joshua,Timothy,Jeong Mark,Soon Seng and me all reach Gurney we'd all just stand there in front of GSC cinemas looking at each other thinking "so,what should we do" and always we'd reply "anything" "up to you" "i'm fine with anything" or "Let's go somewhere cheap and do something cheap"-Jeong Mark's words of wisdom :p . We also usually go to the arcade for some daytona racing and tennis!Where I ALWAYS BEAT CHIEN LEE & JEONG MARK in tennis :) . I'll never forget how Timothy saw a girl walking past by and just shouted "ADRIEL YOUR TYPE!" dafuq HAHA that was totally random. We always like to "suan" each other as well and sometimes make fun of other people who talk as though they're from America!:p

And Joshua would always be the awesomest friend / brother would fetch us all to gurney or club or both and back!Screw you Timothy! You still havent fetch me yet! Even I stay in tg.bungah he'd fetch me :') so bromance man, but I think now he won't already :( . Also going to Jeong Mark's place is always good where I smash him in FIFA in his own hometurf repeatedly and watching him react to the defeat is always entertaining to watch :) I remember when Dennis,Eam Ming & I were at Jeong Mark's house when he was having class I think but we went his house key and we wanted to play FIFA but his dogs were set free in house and so we couldnt go in cause one of his dog was a freaking spawn of the devil which we called "demon dog".First off we didnt know the dogs were loose in the house so we opened the main door to see the demon dog charging at us so we all ran into dennis's car and shut the door and after awhile the dog went back in the house. So after i think 30 minutes siting in the car we made a plan to distract the dogs to the kitchen and then asking eam ming to close the kitchen door locking them in.The plan actually worked but while dennis and I were distracting the dogs in the kitchen the demon dog actually spun around and was gonna head out of the kitchen but Eam Ming was fast enough to close the door..really smart ass dog but we had a good laugh about that anyways.

I also really miss playing tennis and ping pong with Chien Lee and also playing football in that small little playground with Ali and Ming Han after tuition classes every weekend. Those were very good times and there are plenty more of memories & things that I have shared and gone through with my friends. Most people have 1 or 2 or maybe at most 4 best friends but I really can say I have more than 5 best friends and I am truly happy and grateful as well that we still are close even though we are all currently in different countries pursuing our own goals and ambitions.Even when i'm in Melbourne I pretty much know whats going on in Penang because of them and it's like I never left :) I hope we'd be able to remain this close till we grow old and all that because you guys truly are the best friends anyone could ever ask for!

I truly believe in this quote :

Friendship isn't about whom you have known the longest... It's about who came, and never left your side.

Brothers!:D

PS: we need to take more pictures for memories!and I HAVE NO PHOTOS WITH CHIEN LEE o0o beh cham.

Interruptions

I love this quote:

INTERRUPTIONS

When you are exasperated by interruptions, try to remember that their very
frequency may indicate the value of your life. Only people who are full
of help and strength are burdened by other persons' needs. The
interruptions which we chafe at are the credentials of our
indispensability. The greatest condemnation that anybody could incur -
and it is a danger to guard against - is to be so independent, so
unhelpful, that nobody ever interrupts us, and we are left comfortably alone.
